2025 Lucie Photo Book Prize

International (submission), Exhibition in New York City at Picto NY (Fall 2025)
Open to
Photographers, editors, curators, or publishers who have created photo books or projects anywhere in the world between March 2023 and September 2025. Eligible book types include traditionally published, self-published, exhibition catalogues, prototypes, zines, handmade books, and more.
Application Fee
Traditional category: $55 for first submission, with 20% discount for additional categories of the same book
Independent category: $35 for first submission, with 20% discount for additional categories of the same book
What’s Provided
Two cash prizes: $3,000 for Traditional category, $2,000 for Independent category
Finalists featured in a group exhibition in New York City at Picto NY (details to be announced)
Recognition by a jury of prominent photography professionals
What the Applicant Must Cover
Applicants must cover submission fees and costs related to preparing and submitting a PDF file of their book (digital only, no physical shipping). All entries are submitted online.
