Early-career visual artists who live in one of New York City's five boroughs at the time of application and throughout the residency. Applicants must not be enrolled in a degree-granting program during the residency.

What the Artist Must Cover
Residency participation and regular studio engagement
Monthly mentor meetings
Quarterly cohort meetings
Attendance at required residency programs and public engagement activities

Essential Notes
Three artists will be selected for the 2027–2028 cohort.
The residency concludes with a group exhibition at Abrons Arts Center.
Studio spaces are open-plan; work that generates strong fumes cannot be accommodated.
