Application 006 – Al Riwaq Art Residency Programme
Location: Bank House 1, Al Guful, Manama, Bahrain
Open to: Artists from all disciplines, 18 years and older. International applicants are welcome but must cover their own travel and accommodation.

What’s Provided:
12-week intensive residency (29 September – 22 December 2025)
Individual studio space within a residency compound
Basic studio set-up and resources
Mentorship, discussions, critique, and collaborative opportunities
Workshops, talks, courses, cultural visits, and research facilitation
Support from Al Riwaq staff
4-week exhibition production period (23 December 2025 – 19 January 2026)
Exhibition of participants’ work from 27 January – 2 April 2026, developed in collaboration with Al Riwaq’s curation team
What the artist/applicant must cover:
Travel and accommodation expenses (no funding provided for these)
Commitment to full participation during the residency and production phases
Duration:
Residency: 12 weeks
Production: 4 weeks
Exhibition: Approximately 2 months
