Odeta Xheka – Albanian-born artist and founder of OXH Gallery in Tampa, FL. She explores multi-medium approaches to art and curatorial practices outside the white cube paradigm.

Call Description
“Self Portrait” invites artists to create work in which they are the subject—exploring identity, artistic role, inner narrative, culture, and humanity. Artists are encouraged to reflect deeply, whether for self-promotion, exploration, or sheer creative expression.

Eligibility

• Open to all artists

• All 2D and 3D media welcome, including photography, video, and digital art

• No AI-generated art allowed

• Work must be original, completed in the past 3 years, and not shown previously at ACS

• Only limited edition prints are accepted; no open editions

Submission Period
April 29 – July 20, 2025 (closes at 7:30 AM ET)

Exhibition Dates
August 21 – September 27, 2025
Opening Reception: August 21, 5–7 PM

Entry Fee

• 1 piece: $30 members / $40 non-members / $10 student members / $20 student non-members

• 2 pieces: $40 members / $55 non-members

• 3 pieces: $45 members / $65 non-members
  Fees are non-refundable.

• 1st Place: $500

• 2nd Place: $300

• 3rd Place: $200

• 2 Merit Awards

• 4 Honorable Mentions

Shipping / Delivery
Accepted work must arrive August 4–6, 2025 (via mail or in-person). Return shipping labels required. Work must be ready to hang and dry.

Sales
All work must be for sale.

• Members receive 60% commission

• Non-members receive 50%
  Sales must go through ACS—no outside or direct sales permitted.

• 2D: 60"x60" framed

• 3D: 48"x48"x48"
  Over 30 lbs? Artist may need to assist with installation.
