All artists working in any medium, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media, digital art, sculpture, and video.
AI-generated art is not allowed.
Juror
Samo Davis – interdisciplinary artist and designer known for work in sculpture, fashion, digital media, and AR/VR.
Size Restrictions
2D artwork (after framing): Max 15" x 15"
3D artwork: Max 15" x 15" x 15"
Weight limit: 30 lbs. (heavier work must be disclosed)
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: Sunday, September 7, 2025 (9:00 PM EST)
Notification of Acceptance: By Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Receiving of Accepted Works: Sept 29 – Oct 1 (by mail or in-person)
Opening Reception: Thursday, October 9, 2025, 5–7 PM
Exhibition Run: October 9 – November 15, 2025
Artwork Pickup: Nov 17–18, 2025 (late pickup subject to storage fees)
Entry Fees
1 Work: $30 (members), $40 (non-members), $10 (student members)
2 Works: $40 (members), $55 (non-members), $20 (student members)
3 Works: $45 (members), $65 (non-members), $25 (student members)
Awards
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $200
Plus 2 Merit Awards & 4 Honorable Mentions
Juror selects awards after installation.
Sales
Commission: 40% (members), 50% (non-members)
All work must be for sale – no NFS or POR listings
Sales processed by Art Center Sarasota; direct sales by artists not allowed
What You Must Cover
Shipping (both directions); include return label
Proper framing or display hardware (wire only, no sawtooth)
Accurate labeling and clean presentation
Any special display materials for 3D or unconventional works
Other Requirements
Work must be original and completed in the last 3 years
Editions must be limited, signed, and numbered
Diptychs/triptychs must be priced and submitted as a single entry
Work must be dry and ready to hang/display
All entries juried blind (juror does not see name or price)
Insurance & Rights
Work is insured during the exhibition
Art Center Sarasota reserves promotional rights
Artists must agree to ACS content policies
