Between Bridges Residency 2026

Location: Berlin, Germany

Open to:
Professional individual artists, artist duos, or small collaborative groups working in the visual arts. Applicants must not be enrolled in a BA or MA program at the time of application (PhD students are eligible).

None stated.

What’s Provided:

• 6-month residency (July–December 2026) at Between Bridges, Berlin

• Access to 100 m² of workspace, including two large work/exhibition areas, storage, office, kitchen, and bathroom

• Monthly stipend of €1,500 (per residency, not per participant)

• €5,000 exhibition or presentation budget

• Opportunity for studio visits with art professionals

• Promotion and documentation of the final exhibition through Between Bridges’ channels

What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover:
Living costs and any additional production or installation support (Between Bridges can recommend service providers but does not assist with installation).

Notes:

• Applications must include a combined CV and portfolio (PDF, max 10 MB, 10 pages) and a project proposal (max 250 words).

• Submissions accepted in English or German via the online form.

• Only selected candidates will be contacted in December 2025.

• The residency spaces are not wheelchair accessible and are not suitable for living.
