Writers and artists submitting hybrid work, nonfiction, fiction, poetry, or translation that engages the theme Obsession.

$25 per poem
$50 per work under 1500 words or 1–3 artworks
$100 for work over 1501 words or 4+ artworks

2. Emerging Writer Fellowship in Hybrid Writing
Open to
Writers who have not yet published a book-length collection.
Open to hybrid or cross-genre writers or those interested in learning to hybridize their work. Forthcoming debut authors eligible (if first book releases after April 2025).
Not open to previous Brink contributors or close associates of staff.
Application Fee
$20 (one-time, non-refundable)

Four-month virtual editorial mentorship with Brink staff
Developmental editing on selected piece
