Contextile 2026 – International Exhibition

Location: Guimarães, Portugal

Open to: National and international artists working in visual arts whose works relate to textile elements through concept, theme, techniques, or materials.

Application Fee: €20

What’s Provided:
Selected artists (50 in total) will exhibit one artwork as part of the International Exhibition at Contextile 2026 – Contemporary Textile Art Biennial. The jury will award one Acquisition Prize of €8,000 and two Honourable Mentions of €2,500 and €1,000.

What the Artist Must Cover:
Submission fee and any associated production or transport costs (not specified otherwise).

Notes:
The biennial’s 8th edition theme is “BY A THREAD.” All submitted artworks must connect to this concept.
