Deepest Rhythms

Open to
Open to national and international artists. Original works created within the last five years are eligible. The exhibition is seeking photography that engages with liminality and seasonal transition, including themes such as rest, descent, ancestry, grief/vigil, and the body's relationship to seasonal rhythms. Landscape, portraiture, and still life photography are welcome.

Application Fee

  • Standard: $40 for up to 3 images

  • $10 for each additional image

  • Students: $25 for up to 3 images (student ID required)

  • $10 for each additional image

What's Provided

  • Inclusion in the Deepest Rhythms group exhibition at ARC Gallery.

  • Exhibition dates: October 2–25, 2026.

  • Opening reception on October 2, 2026.

  • Accepted works may be offered for sale through the gallery. Artists retain 80% of the sale price (less applicable PayPal fees), and the gallery retains a 20% commission.

What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover

  • Application fee.

  • Shipping costs to and from the gallery.

  • A prepaid UPS or FedEx return shipping label for shipped works.

  • Appropriate packing and presentation of accepted work.

  • Personal insurance if desired, as the gallery does not assume liability for damage or loss.

Exhibition: October 2–25, 2026.

Deadline
August 30, 2026 (11:59 PM CST).

Other Essential Notes

  • Notification of accepted artists will be sent by September 15, 2026.

  • JPG/JPEG image submissions only.

  • Images of accepted works may be used by ARC Gallery for publicity.

  • No projections or media installations will be accepted due to space limitations.
