Opportunity Overview
Delfina Foundation invites applications from artists based in Southeast Asia for a 12-week fully funded residency in London during their Open Season (Winter 2026). This is a unique opportunity for artists to develop their practice through research, professional development, and cultural exchange.
What the Residency Includes
Return economy-class airfare
Visa fee reimbursement (if applicable)
Airport transfers in the UK
Living allowance of £40/day
£1,000 materials budget
London travel pass
Accommodation at Delfina House (private room, shared facilities)
Structured programme: portfolio reviews, studio visits, guest critiques, talks, guided gallery/museum visits, and more
Access to a vibrant international peer group and the London art scene
Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
Be a citizen or long-term resident of one of the following countries:
Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos (LPDR), or Timor-LesteBe actively living and working in one of the eligible countries
Demonstrate interest in independent research and career development
Be proficient in English

Collectives & Families
Due to space constraints, only one representative of a collective may apply. Partners, children, or pets cannot be accommodated onsite, but alternate arrangements may be possible at the artist’s expense.
