First Look 2026 – Juried Portfolio Exhibition

Open To
Photographers working in any genre who can submit a cohesive body of work. Emerging and established artists are welcome. Submission includes up to 10 images, an artist/project statement, website and/or social media link, and how you heard about the call.
Application Fee
$40 per portfolio
$30 per portfolio for students (valid student ID required)
What’s Provided
Exhibition of selected portfolios (approximately 5 images per artist) from February through April 2026
Exhibition exposure to collectors, curators, and the photographic community
Eligibility for inclusion in First Look: A Second Glance on The Wall, featuring singular images from submitted portfolios
Selected works from A Second Glance added to the gallery’s flat files for continued visibility and potential acquisition
20% discount on printing and framing through Panopticon Imaging
Professional gallery setting and potential consideration for future exhibitions
What the Artist Must Cover
Submission fee
Printing and framing costs (with optional discounted services at Panopticon Imaging)
Shipping or delivery of artwork to the gallery
The gallery retains a 50% commission on sold works

Main exhibition: February – April 2026
A Second Glance exhibition runs concurrently

Artists retain all copyrights; selected artists grant Panopticon Gallery promotional usage rights
