What’s Provided

• Private accommodation in artist housing

• 24/7 access to workshops and facilities (Studio Silo access available at an additional cost)

• Towels, bed linen, Wi-Fi, cleaning products, laundry soap

• Airport pickup/drop-off on designated days (from Egilsstaðir Airport)

What the artist/applicant must cover

• Residency fee:

• 2025: 150,000 ISK (approx. €1050 / $1200) per period

• 2026: 160,000 ISK (approx. €1150 / $1300) per period

• January and December (short residencies): 120,000 ISK

• Meals, art supplies, travel, and any personal expenses

• Studio Silo (if used)

Monthly residencies (option for consecutive months)
2025 Period: November 3–28
2026 Periods: Monthly from January–December (specific dates vary)

Deadline
Rolling — applications accepted throughout the year

Any other essential notes

• A 50,000 ISK Confirmation Fee is due within 7 days of acceptance

• Final Residency Fee is due 12 weeks before arrival

• Rescheduling allowed once, up to one year from original booking

• Cancellations >60 days before start date eligible for 50% refund (excl. confirmation fee); <60 days are non-refundable

• Residency is not refundable if already rescheduled

• Payment options include international bank transfer or secure credit card web payment
