Francisco Mantecón International Poster Design Competition 2026

Location:
O Rosal, Pontevedra, Spain (competition managed by Bodegas Terras Gauda; international submissions accepted)

Open to:
Individuals aged 18 or older and corporate entities (no nationality restrictions). Each participant may submit up to two original, previously unpublished posters.

Application Fee:
No mandatory entry fee. Optional poster printing service available for €15 per poster at the destination.

What’s Provided:

• Prizes:

• Grand Prize: €10,000

• 1st Honorable Mention: €2,000

• 2nd Honorable Mention: €2,000

• Special Mention: €2,000 (at organizer’s discretion)

• Works may be exhibited at the Port of Vigo and potentially used in promotional campaigns or archived by the competition.

What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover:

• Create original, unpublished poster design(s) using any technique.

• Register digital files and print each work on 50 × 70 cm foam board.

• Include the assigned identification number, contact details, and required packaging information.

• Shipping or delivery to Bodegas Terras Gauda must be arranged by the applicant (or printed via optional service).

Duration:
Submission must be postmarked/sent and received by 18:00 on April 10, 2026.

Deadline:
April 10, 2026 (18:00, as per postal postmark or payment completion for printing).

Other Notes:

• Works submitted become part of the competition archive, and the organizer may reproduce them for cultural and promotional purposes, citing the author.

• The organizer may acquire non-winning works under specified conditions.
