Fujairah Photography Award (Cycle Seven, 2024–2025)

Individual photographers aged 14 years and older. Each applicant may submit up to three images in only one of the three competition categories. Images must not have won previous awards and must be produced during 2024–2025. Local-category submissions must feature photos taken exclusively in the Emirate of Fujairah; global‑category entries may be from any location

What’s Provided
Cash prizes are awarded across categories—e.g. 1st Prize up to AED 30,000 (Local), AED 25,000 (Local Crafts & Markets), USD 9,000 (Global Stories)—with 2nd and 3rd prizes accordingly. Winning works are published and reproduced locally and internationally by the Fujairah Culture & Media Authority with photographer credit. Participants also gain access to workshops, seminars, discovery tours, and an exhibition platform
What the artist/applicant must cover
All submission and production costs. Applicants must have full legal and technical ownership of submitted images, manage necessary releases for individuals shown, and ensure photographs adhere to the technical and content criteria (no logos, frames, technical defects, moral or cultural violations). Must submit an “Endorsement” document alongside images

Entries open: October 8, 2024. Submission deadline: September 16, 2025. Winners announced at a ceremony in October 2025

Entries must be submitted via the official online form only.
Technical detail: JPEG format (max 10 MB per file); winners must provide RAW files. No technical manipulation beyond editing that affects authenticity
Participants are prohibited from publishing or entering the same images in other events or platforms during the award period.
Submitted works become property of the Authority, with rights to reproduce/publish while crediting the creator
