Future Materials Fellowships 2026
Location
Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht, Netherlands
Open to
Artists and designers with a sound artistic practice in material research, working with an existing project to be further developed. Applicants must demonstrate understanding of material chemistry, history, and context. Jan van Eyck alumni are not eligible.
Application Fee
€50 (waived for applicants from Least Developed Countries, Low Income Countries, and Lower Middle Income Countries on the DAC list).

Accommodation in Maastricht or surroundings (within 10 km); guidance provided but not arranged by the academy.

Additional Notes
Fellows will contribute to workshops within the “Recycling as Reproducing Histories” project at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
