Exhibition Proposal Series – Fall 2025

Gallery 263, Cambridge, MA

• Open to

Artists and curators of all experience levels. Solo or group proposals welcome. For group shows, at least 50% of the participating artists must be based in New England.

• Application Fee

$30 (discounted), $40 (standard), or $50 (supporter). Submission fees are non-refundable and support the nonprofit gallery’s operations. Fee waivers are not available, but volunteers may qualify for a discount.

• What’s Provided

Accepted proposals will receive a four-week exhibition at Gallery 263 (September 4 – October 4, 2025), including staff collaboration to present a polished, self-curated show in a 700 sq ft storefront space. All applicants are also considered for a separate curated group exhibition taking place in 2026.

• What the artist/applicant must cover

Artists are responsible for preparing and delivering the exhibition materials according to the submission guidelines. Details on submission formatting and documentation are provided in the call.

• Duration

Exhibition runs for four weeks: September 4 – October 4, 2025

• Deadline

July 27, 2025 (by midnight EST)

Any other essential notes
Only proposals submitted through this call will be considered for solo or group exhibitions. Artists proposing sculpture are encouraged to include a floor plan. Work must be recent (within two years), with exceptions possible by request.
