Goa Open Arts Festival 2026
Location
Old GMC Complex, Panjim, Goa
Open to
Creative practitioners based in Goa across disciplines including:
Visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, performance art, research-based projects)
Cinema (shorts, documentaries, features)
Performance (theatre, dance, spoken word, poetry, stand-up)
Music (all genres)
Workshops & audience engagements (children and/or adults)
Applicants under 18 must be part of a team with at least one adult (18+). Collectives may apply under a lead applicant. At least one member must be Goa-based. Projects must be original, innovative, and relevant to the festival's spirit. Completed and ready-to-display works are preferred.

What’s Provided
Participation in a multidisciplinary public festival
Technical support (carpentry and electrical)
50% of any artwork sales (remaining 50% retained by the festival for future programming)
Venue and space allocation based on project needs
What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover
Production, transportation, installation, and deinstallation of artwork or project

Festival Dates: February 20–25, 2026
Installation & Production: February 13–19, 2026

Final artist selection is at the discretion of the jury
Applicants will be notified by October 15, 2025
Selected artists will be publicly announced January 25–February 7, 2026
