Open to
Artists and publishers working with handmade or analog artist books, zines, and experimental publications. Works must be created from 2020 onward. Books should be primarily handmade or analog, though partial commercial printing is allowed.

What’s Provided

  • Inclusion in the exhibition at Helsinki Central Library Oodi (30 March – 26 April 2026)

  • Inclusion of the selected book in the Rikhardinkatu Library Artist’s Book Collection

  • Reimbursement of the book’s price and shipping costs upon invoice

What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover

  • Shipping or delivery of selected works to the Finnish Darkroom Association by 1 March 2026

Additional Notes
Selection prioritizes handmade small-edition books. Works reflecting analog processes, experimentation, and the festival theme BODY are especially welcome. Submission requires an application form and a single PDF including bio, CV, book description, and at least 5 images. All inquiries should be sent to info@helsinkianalogfestival.com.
