Hayama Artist Residency 2027

Open to
Visual artists aged 21 and over from anywhere in the world, working in any medium. Applications must be submitted in English.
Application Fee
USD $95 for first-time applicants (non-refundable). The fee is waived for second-time applicants, and first-time applicants who are not selected receive a fee waiver for the following year.

Four-week residency (June 1–30, 2027)
Round-trip airfare to Narita or Haneda Airport
Shared accommodation with a private bedroom
USD $800 stipend for meals and local transportation
