Hayama Artist Residency 2027

Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

Open to
Visual artists aged 21 and over from anywhere in the world, working in any medium. Applications must be submitted in English.

Application Fee
USD $95 for first-time applicants (non-refundable). The fee is waived for second-time applicants, and first-time applicants who are not selected receive a fee waiver for the following year.

What’s Provided

• Four-week residency (June 1–30, 2027)

• Round-trip airfare to Narita or Haneda Airport

• Shared accommodation with a private bedroom

• USD $800 stipend for meals and local transportation

Essential Notes
