Artists, curators, designers (including graphic, fashion, food, and social design), researchers, writers, and architects.

Application Fee
€65 (excl. VAT) / €78.65 (incl. VAT).
The fee is waived for applicants from and living in Least Developed Countries, Low Income Countries, and Lower Middle Income Countries and Territories on the DAC list of ODA recipients.

What’s Provided
An 11-month residency among approximately 36 participants.
(Additional support is not specified beyond participation in the Jan van Eyck Academie program.)

Notes
Applicants must submit an artist statement, motivation, and project proposal, or alternatively a combined 8-minute max audio/video.
A single PDF (max 10MB) with recent work documentation (max 25 pages) and CV (max 2 pages) is required.
Applications cannot be edited after submission.
Selection results announced in May 2026.
Duo/collective applicants submit one application and pay one fee.
