¥15,000 per application (paid via credit card; PayPal or bank transfer also accepted)
Includes one KYOTOGRAPHIE Passport (admission ticket) per application
What’s Provided
Opportunity to exhibit in Kyoto during KG+ / KYOTOGRAPHIE festival (April 18 – May 17, 2026)
Promotion: inclusion in the online festival map, on the KG+ website, and in promotional materials
Publicity support — the festival may use applicant materials (images + text) for promotional purposes
Posters and flags displayed during exhibition period
Optional participation in educational programs (masterclasses, portfolio reviews) during KYOTOGRAPHIE
What the Applicant Must Cover
All exhibition costs: venue rental, printing, framing, transport, projector usage, etc.
Venue must be secured by the applicant before applying
Monitoring of the exhibition / staffing during the show period is the responsibility of the applicant
Any cancellation after selection may incur a penalty fee (e.g. for reprinting promotional materials)
Legal responsibility for any claims of rights infringement lies with the applicant
Duration
Exhibitions must run within April 18 – May 17, 2026 and be open at least 9 days.

Selection Process / Other Notes
Applications are reviewed by the KG+ Executive Committee.
Exhibitions are categorized into: KG+, KG+ PICK UP, and KG+ for Collectors, based on quality, concept, originality, scale.
KG+ Discovery Award: One outstanding artist (excluding SELECT) will be chosen. Winner gets to do a solo exhibition and other prizes.
To apply for it, tick “Apply for Discovery Award” in the form; no additional documents needed.
First-round screening is document-based; finalists present during KG+ (April 24, 2026 tentative).
Application materials required: exhibition statement (~350 words in English), artist bio, portfolio images (max 20), floor plan, venue permission letter, artist photo.
The organizer may use submitted work and info for publicity / archives.
