What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover
All costs associated with preparing and submitting their own work. Contributors are not paid at this time.
Genres and Requirements
Poetry: 1–3 poems, any kind, each on its own page.
Fiction & Creative Non-Fiction: 100–5,000 words; submit one piece at a time.
General Guidelines
File format: .doc/.docx (PDF additionally for experimental poetry).
Simultaneous submissions allowed with notification if accepted elsewhere.
Work must be original and not created by AI.
No photography or screenplays accepted.
Hard Guidelines
No slurs or derogatory language.
No glorification of suicide, drug use, excessive violence, or gore.
Content involving suicide, self-harm, or assault requires a content warning.
No hate toward any group or individual.
AI-created work results in automatic rejection and future disqualification.
Duration / Response Time
Response time: 3–5 weeks after the close of the submission period.
