NARS International Artist Residency Program (2025–2026)

Open to
International visual artists only (not for US-based artists). Applicants must have an active professional practice of at least three years. Students are not eligible.
Application Fee
$35 (non-refundable, paid via credit card at the time of submission)
Residency Fee
Artists are responsible for covering the full cost:
2025 Fees:
3-month residency: $9,122
6-month residency: $17,332
2026 Fees:
3-month residency: $9,900
6-month residency: $18,770
A $2,000 deposit is required within 30 days of acceptance.

Application Requirements
Application form completed in English
Current CV (PDF or DOC format)
Artist bio (300 words)
Residency proposal/goals (400 words)
Up to 10 images or media work samples with descriptions
Properly labeled image files (JPEGs @ 72 dpi, max 1000px on any side)
Optional: links to video/audio work (e.g. Vimeo, YouTube)
All submissions must follow naming/file format guidelines
Other Important Notes
Applications not labeled properly will not be reviewed
A letter of acceptance for visa/funding purposes is available upon request after acceptance
