New Voices 2026: Design

Print Center New York, 535 West 24th Street, New York, NY (applications online)

Open to
Artists currently living in a U.S. state or territory who engage with printmaking through concept, materials, or technique. Artists must be at least one year out of a degree-seeking academic program (such as BFA or MFA) and must not be enrolled or entering one in the 2025–26 academic year. Applicants should not be receiving major institutional support (e.g., full gallery representation or academic employment).

Applications are encouraged from individuals of all backgrounds and citizenship/immigration statuses.

What’s Provided
– Group exhibition (June–August 2026)
– $2,500 honorarium per artist (paid in installments)
– Accompanying publication with critical writing
– Three-day in-person artist convening in New York City
– Artist-led public programming opportunities
– Virtual cohort meetings and ongoing development workshops
– Shipping and framing of selected works
– Travel, lodging, and meals stipend for NYC convening

What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover
Any additional costs beyond what is covered; a valid TIN (SSN, EIN, or ITIN) is required for payment

Exhibition: June–August 2026
In-person convening: 3 days (summer 2026, exact dates TBD)
