Photographers, filmmakers, and visual artists whose work engages with the Atlantic, Pacific, or Indian Ocean, including related seas, coastlines, and maritime routes.

Application Fee
No application fee stated. Selected contributors receive an editorial fee between €400 and €660 (inclusive of VAT), to be agreed upon with contributors.

What’s Provided
Publication in TRIGGER #7: Ocean, a book by FOMU’s TRIGGER platform. Contributors will develop work in collaboration with the editorial team and guest editors, and contributions may be visual essays, sequences, or formats appropriate to the publication. A fee between €400 and €660 will be provided.

What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover
Applicants must prepare and submit a short proposal (max. 300 words) tailored to the call; optional sample images or film stills may be included if relevant. Full portfolios are not requested.

Not specified, but timeline includes notification by 4 April and draft/visual material due 7 May (post-deadline workflow).
