PRC 2026 Artist Residency

Photographic Resource Center, Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
Open to
Artists working in photography and lens-based media. Collaborators may apply and will be considered as one artist slot, sharing the residency and stipend. The residency is non-residential, and applicants do not need to live in Boston.
Application Fee
$20 for PRC members
$30 for non-members
What's Provided
Four weeks of dedicated studio space (approximately 400 sq ft per artist)
Access to Lesley University's digital lab, darkroom, and alternative process lab
$500 artist stipend
Exhibition planning sessions and weekly feedback meetings
Opportunity to lead one public program
Final dual exhibition with opening reception and artist talks
Promotion through PRC's social media, newsletter, and press channels
Professional documentation of the final exhibition
What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover
Housing and transportation (this is a non-live-in residency)
Artists are expected to make regular use of the gallery space throughout the residency.

Other Essential Notes
Two artists will be selected.
The residency concludes with a public exhibition (November 14–23, 2026).
Applicants will be notified of results beginning September 12, 2026.
