Writers of previously unpublished poetry and fiction. Open internationally. Must be a current subscriber to The Greensboro Review.
Application Fee
$15 for a one-year subscription (required to enter)
What’s Provided
$1,000 prize each for one winning poetry submission and one winning fiction submission
Publication in The Greensboro Review (Spring issue)
Finalists considered for publication
Work may also be featured on greensbororeview.org
What the artist/applicant must cover
$15 subscription fee via Duke University Press
All other entry costs are included with subscription
Deadline

Additional Notes
Submit only once per genre (poetry and/or fiction) during the reading period
Fiction: max 7,500 words or 25 pages (one story per submission)
Poetry: 3–5 poems recommended, max 10 pages total
Simultaneous submissions allowed; notify if accepted elsewhere
Submissions must be made via Submittable; no email entries accepted
Winners notified before public announcement with Spring issue release
All non-accepted manuscripts released by December 31
