TD Curatorial Fellowship

Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid / In-person)
Open to
Emerging BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour) curators living in Canada. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada for the full duration of the fellowship. A background in Art History, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies, or related fields (or equivalent experience) is required.

What’s Provided
Two-year paid curatorial fellowship
Compensation of $35/hour for approx. 60 hours per month (flexible)
Mentorship and professional development with The Magenta Foundation, Daniel Faria Gallery, Nia Centre for the Arts, and artist June Clark
Hands-on experience with curating exhibitions, archival digitization, publishing, and public programming
Contribution to exhibitions, a monograph, and touring strategies
Access to an expanded national and international arts network
What the artist/applicant must cover
Any additional personal expenses not included in the fellowship structure
