TED & POSCA Global Artist Residency 2027
Location
Global (distributed residency; artists work within their own communities)
Open to
Artists aged 18 and over from around the world. The call welcomes visual artists, muralists, interdisciplinary artists, designers, community-based practitioners, collectives, architects/spatial practitioners, and creatives working across disciplines. Projects should engage with communities and public space. Applicants located in countries subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions are not eligible.

What's Provided
Total of USD $15,000 per selected artist (covering artist fees, production/community activation, and documentation)
Creative direction and storytelling support
Participation in an international artist cohort
Curatorial check-ins and project development feedback
Global visibility through TED, POSCA, and Fine Acts platforms.
What the Artist/Applicant Must Cover
Applicants are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, legal compliance, and any obligations required in their country of residence.
Duration
One-year residency. Selected artists develop, implement, and document their projects between 1 January and 30 June 2027 as part of the 2027 residency cycle.
Deadline
31 July 2026.
Additional Notes
The 2026 residency theme is Visible Mending, exploring repair as a creative and civic act.
Four artists will be selected.
Projects should be community-rooted public interventions developed within the artist's own local context.
Artists do not need to submit fully developed projects; selected proposals will be further developed with the curatorial team.
