Open to
Emerging Canadian curators who:
Are between 25 and 30 years old at application deadline,
Are Canadian citizens or permanent residents,
Hold a valid driver’s license and can rent a car,
Have curated a minimum of two exhibitions,
Have published at least two critical essays on contemporary art,
Demonstrate specialized training in contemporary art (academic or other),
Have work that has been professionally presented and peer-recognized,
Are proficient in English,
Have familiarity with Canadian institutions and contemporary art,
Are comfortable working in remote environments independently.

Return travel to and from Fogo Island,
Accommodation in a heritage house on-site,
Use of a vehicle for on-island transportation,
Weekly honorarium to cover food and incidentals,
