THOR Residency Program 2027

Open to
Professional choreographers and dance companies based in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
Two residency formats are available:
Residencies: For artists and companies without a programme contract or multi-year funding.
Studio Availabilities: For artists and companies with a programme contract or multi-year funding.

What’s Provided
Residencies (1–2 weeks):
Studio access (Monday–Saturday)
Residency grant of €1,250
Promotion through THOR’s social media
Optional residency showing or public presentation with communication support

Studio access (Monday–Saturday)
Promotion through THOR’s social media
Residency showing or public presentation with communication support
What the Artist Must Cover
Applicants must submit:
The completed online application form
A project file including the project presentation, recent productions, and any co-productions or support
The project file must be emailed to residencies@thor.be with the subject line: Artist name + Project name
Duration
Residencies: 1 or 2 weeks
Studio Availabilities: 2 weeks

Project includes at least 2 performers on stage
