Anyone aged 18 or over worldwide. The prize welcomes professional and amateur photographers, biomedical image-makers, scientists, healthcare professionals, artists, and creators working from lived experience.

What’s Provided

• £10,000 for the winner of each of the three categories

• £1,000 for each of 22 additional finalists

• Exhibition as part of the Wellcome Photography Prize at the Francis Crick Institute in London

• International recognition and publicity through the prize
